Mervyn Fernandes, Nitin Kirtane to lead a field of 225+ participants at the inaugural Mumbai Open Senior ITF

Mumbai,March: Mumbai Open Senior ITF received an overwhelming response with 225+ individual entries across categories making it one of the biggest Senior ITF tournaments in India. The Inaugural edition is being organised from 15th to 20th March under the aegis of Senior ITF and MSLTA and supported by associate sponsors like Prince, Selection Center Sports, Octo, Fone X, JL Collection, Pawa HY and Croma.

The tournament will see participation from prominent faces like Ex-National Hockey Captain, Mervyn Fernandes, Ex-National Champion and Jr Wimbledon runner-up, Nitin Kirtane and Ex ATP player Vinod Shridhar to name a few. The tournament does not have any qualifiers and the draw size ranges from 16 to 64 across age categories.

All participants registered with the Senior ITF are eligible to participate in the tournament and the winner stands a chance to score 75 points. The Opening Ceremony will be held on 15th at 11 am.  Karan Singh as the tournament director and will in charge of the smooth conduct of this mega event.
