Bhartiya Dak has launched ‘Click N Book’ Service, an online platform which allows customers to book speed post, registered letters, and parcels. Currently the service is available in 141 post offices of Maharashtra Postal Circle.
- Customers will need to register on the postal department’s website https://www.indiapost.gov.in/Help/Pages/ClicknBook_individuals.aspxto avail the service.
- Nominal flat pickup fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged.
- Free pick up facility is provided for the articles with a tariff not less than Rs. 500/-
- Paymentto be made through Online Payment Gateway authorized by DoP.
- This facility will be beneficial for seniorcitizens, college students and working individuals who are not able to visit the Post Office during regular working hours for booking of their articles.
