Christmas week and New Year brings joy to everyone. This year, the pandemic took a toll on each one of us for over 8 months. Doing its bit towards society and to spread happiness amongst the underprivileged during these unprecedented times, Wockhardt Hospitals Mira Road distributed clothes and food essentials on the eve of Christmas and New Year. Along with this, the hospital staff motivated people to be still careful with all standard precautions to fight the pandemic and take care of their overall wellbeing.

Dr. Pankaj Dhamija Center head, Wockhardt Hospital, Mira Road, said, “The team visited Ashray Akruti Foundation Rehabilitation Centre for persons with disability. Basic necessities such as clothes and food were distributed amongst the children.”

“It was truly an emotionally satisfying and enriching activity and a delightful experience to see for the joy and satisfaction on faces of children by being a Santa for them and the cheerful smiles, whole-hearted blessings were an icing on the cake. We tried to give them an unforgettable experience by spending quality time with them and kept the spirits high for new year,” concluded Dr. Dhamija.
