UNION BANK OF INDIA TO PARTICIPATE IN  CUSTOMER OUTREACH INITIATIVE-PHASE II

Mumbai – October 19, 2019: Union Bank of India will be participating in Customer Outreach Initiative – Phase II announced by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services.  “Customer Outreach Initiative” for RAM sectors i.e. Retail (PMAY, Affordable Housing finance schemes etc), Agriculture and MSMEs (Mudra, Stand up India, Vehicle loan, CGTMSE schemes etc).

The main objective of this campaign is to create awareness among Customers about Bank’s Loan products /Financial Inclusion products and generate new leads from market/industry as well as our existing customers. The special focus will be MSME products, Retail products, SHG lending schemes and other agricultural schemes. Along with new offerings, details about the various restructuring schemes available for MSME under stress will be explained to the existing customers, thereby giving them the required impetus for growth. The customer outreach initiatives camp- 2nd phase is being organized in 8 districts between 21st  Oct’19 to 30th Oct’19 on pan India basis by Union bank of India.

Union Bank of India will not only be organizing such Camps but also participate in Customer Outreach Campaign/Camp- 2nd phase organized by other Banks in 140 other Districts.
