• The audio-visual campaign shows that couples often are not on the same page when it comes to their financial goals and position.

• Emphasises the importance of having an effective communication when setting financial goals together.

Mumbai, June 22, 2023: Union Asset Management Company Pvt. Ltd. (Union AMC) today said that it has launched a campaign called #BeOnTheSamePage. This campaign emphasizes the importance of inclusivity in financial planning for couples.

In the audio-visual campaign, couples demonstrate clarity in their financial goals, but interestingly, they have differing opinions when quantifying these goals. The campaign highlights their divergent views on fixed monthly expenses, annual school fees for their children, how much money they need for retirement, where they want to settle down post-retirement, and the budget for their dream home.

The campaign sends a strong message: “Living as equals means planning as equals”. This means communicating about financial goals, assessing the current financial position and risk appetite and creating a step-by-step plan to achieve those goals.

The audio-visual campaign ends with the message that couples can achieve their financial goals more easily when they possess the same financial information. To achieve this, couples should start a conversation as soon as possible and seek the help of a financial advisor for proper guidance and smooth allocation of funds.

Saurabh Jain, Chief Marketing Officer, Union AMC Pvt. Ltd., said, “Although there are numerous financial products in the market, many couples struggle to reach their financial goals due to a lack of communication and alignment on their objectives. Our campaign – #BeOnTheSamePage emphasizes the significance of discussing financial positions and goals prior to pursuing them.”
