SKOCH Summit: IPCL awarded in three categories

Mumbai, 12th December : IPCL was conferred the order of merit in three categories for its Asansol operations for the Cent billing program and maintaining lowest T&D losses in the country, process improvements and automation – Continuous Improvement Program and for the first grid-connected ground-mounted solar plant in India. The company also won the SKOCH Gold Award for the Cent Billing Program during the 54th SKOCH Awards held during the SKOCH Summit on 5th December, 2018 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

Mr. Sanjeev Seth, CEO, IPCL, was a distinguished guest and key panelist at the Summit on the State of Power, Oil and Gas, sharing his views on people, processes and technology adoption. He also spoke on agility in the power supply chain and customer orientation as a competitive advantage, the progress made by the sector so far and the way forward in policy and implementation initiatives for faster development of the sector. The Summit was attended by senior officials of most state discoms, senior government and private sector officials and bureaucrats. Mr. Debasis Sarkar, Business Head – Asansol operations, Mr. Bhavani Rao, Vice President and Mr. Amit Mitra, AVP – Business also attended the Summit.

ICC award for Quality of Service:It’s time to celebrate!!! IPCL has been awarded for Quality of Service by the Indian Chamber of Commerce at the 12th India Energy Summit held in New Delhi on November 13 and 14. The theme of the summit was ‘Clean Energy in Every Home’ and the award was granted for our distribution business in Asansol. Mr. Rajat Seksaria received the award on behalf of IPCL.
