SIP Academy celebrated its 16th Anniversary with a Tree Plantation & Awareness campaign

Mumbai:SIP Academy India is a unique organization as it is a for profit social Enterprise. It has made a huge difference to the lives of many children and also women across the length and breadth of India. Starting in a humble way in 2003 with one programme, 3 employees and a few franchisees largely in Tamil Nadu in 2003 SIP Academy now runs 5 programmes and is present in 23 states over 300 cities and has close to 800 centres and 300 schools where the programmes are run. In 2016 SIP Academy India went International and now the programme runs in 8 countries across the world. Every week over 150000 students are touched by a SIP Academy Programme in India.

SIP Academy, has not only been creating mathematics geniuses rather is also aiming at creating  responsible citizens for the country and thus they celebrated their 16th anniversary in an old age home in Vasai, where students spent time with 56 elderly women by planting trees.

Highlighting the need to shelter and preserve the environment Mr Dinesh Victor, MD of SIP Academy said, “Sip Abacus has always protected and conserved the environment. We propagate sustainable ways in all our business practices. I am happy to see the high enthusiasm exhibited by the students who have come forth for the drive. Let us all pledge not only to plant trees but also nurture them”

Ms Sarala K- Head (HR & CSR) of SIP Academy said, “We have to ensure that our future generation is raised in a manner that they understand the value of conserving the environment. Today we decided to celebrate our anniversary over here so that kids can understand the value of greenery which is diminishing day by day. Also they have to learn the social value like care which they will learn by spending time with these elderly ladies.”
