Maharashtra’s EV innovators and start-ups set to get major support as iCreate conducts EVangelise ‘23 roadshows across Pune, Amravati, Sangli and Wardha

Pune, , 2023: iCreate (International Centre for Entrepreneurship and Technology), India’s leading tech-innovation-based incubator, in partnership with COEP, Pune, BIT, Wardha, HVPM, Amrawati and Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli, hosted roadshows for EVangelise ‘23 from 24th August in Pune, Amravati, Sangli and Wardha. The events aimed to promote and accelerate innovation in the EV industry by spreading the EVangelise ’23 awareness amongst students at the country’s premium colleges. Over 700 innovative minds from Pune and other small cities from Maharashtra participated in the event.

EVangelise ‘23 roadshows have been strategically scheduled across the country, spread over multiple cities, in collaboration with leading institutes, spanning the months of July and August. In its mission to spread innovation and opportunity, Evangelise ‘23 is venturing into small cities and towns to encourage an entrepreneurial culture. At COEP, Pune, a fire-pitching event was conducted by Mr. Shubham More, the founder of Udayan Ecotech, Mr. Prathamesh Chaudhary, the founder of Elespa HEV and Idris from COEP Tech University. Other dignitaries present were Dr. Sanjay Dambhare Head of COE, Mr. Girish Degaonkar, AGM of COEP’s Bhau Institute; and Mr. Prashant Kharangate, Incubation Manager of COEP’s Bhau Institute. The event aimed to foster an understanding of the significance of entrepreneurial skills, especially in the rapidly growing electric vehicle (EV) industry in India. Evangelise ‘23 is creating a dynamic platform for individuals from all walks of life to nurture their ideas, develop their skills, and embark on transformative journeys as entrepreneurs. Over 550 participants attended the roadshow in Pune and other cities of Maharashtra.

In its third year, EVangelise ‘23 is a one-of-a-kind national challenge designed to accelerate the development and adoption of electric vehicles in India by encouraging budding entrepreneurs and supporting promising innovations in the sector.

EVangelise ‘23 innovation challenge is open to individuals and organisations interested in electric mobility, including start-ups, researchers, industry professionals, and government representatives from across India.
