HPCL launched ‘poWer 99’, a Premium petrol with an Octane rating of 99, in Jodhpur, to cater to the growing demand for premium fuel from the rising population of high-end cars and performance bikes in the city. With an Octane rating of 99, ‘poWer 99’ is currently the highest Octane petrol available in the State of Rajasthan.
Sh. Kishan Lal, DGM Retail, Jodhpur launched ‘poWer 99’ at the HPCL COCO Bhagat Ki Kothi Jodhpur City in the presence of entire Team Jodhpur Retail Regional Office and several distinguished customers having consumption of high Octane petrol.
Market for High-end Cars & Bikes is growing in India. They are designed to run on high Octane rated petrol, which is good at preventing uncontrolled combustion in engines, thereby enhancing engine performance. At present ‘poWer 99’ is available in 21 cities across India. Indian market first saw the launch of high-performance fuel with highest Octane rating of 99, targeting high end vehicles like BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini, Harley Davidson etc., in 2017 with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd. launch of ‘poWer 99’ fuel in Bengaluru in 2017.
