As slow fashion and sustainability in the industry gain prominence, consumers are gradually rethinking their relationship with fashion. With environmental consciousness preceding their style decisions, accessories are undergoing significant changes. Innovation being an integral part of the process has led to the world of watches undergoing a transformation like no other. Think, watches with solar powered movements and straps made of apple skin, mulberry bark and recycled content.

SKAGEN’S AAREN NATURALS COLLECTION

Skagen is proud to announce its latest collection of environmentally sustainable watches — Aaren Naturals. Inspired by Denmark, a country that has pioneered earth-friendly processes, the accessories brand is excited to release this pro-planet collection celebrating Earth Month. Adding on to Skagen’s bestselling Aaren watch platform, each timepiece’s case, and strap feature pro-planet materials, including stainless steel with recycled content and leather alternatives made with mulberry bark, cork and apple*.

Using environmentally-aware materials helps revitalize our natural world, and Skagen will be offering an increased number of styles using more sustainable materials — including Aaren Naturals — and taking action to combat climate change through water and waste reductions. *Leather alternative made with cork and apple is a bio-based material also partially made of PU.
