Pune, April 2021: Recognising PM Narendra Modi’s call for a fourth industrial revolution, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) Pune, has organised a global virtual conference on the subject next week. Titled INTEGR8 INDIA 2021, the two-day conference will take place between April 22 – April 23.

“For India to emerge from post-COVID lows, it needs to become competitive on the global manufacturing stage. We’re excited that our flagship INTEGR8 INDIA 2021 event will deliberate the path to India’s industrial success – the Industry 4.0”, said Purnachandra Rao Surapaneni, National President, IACC.

Integr8 India 2021 will deliberate the need for a fourth industrial revolution through eight focus areas – Business Shifts, Technologies, Data Analytics, Connected Systems, Talent Readiness, Innovation, Safety & Security and Business Processes.

“The Indo-American Chamber of Commerce and Automation Alley has picked the right subject of Industry 4.0, at the right time to highlight the massive transformation in manufacturing technology to create ‘smart factories’ and eventually transform our society”, said Kamal Vora, Secretary-General, IACC India.

The two-day virtual conference will lend a platform to more than 30 global experts, including Deepak Bagla, Managing Director and CEO, Invest India; Meher Pudumjee, Chairperson, Thermax Ltd and Anand Trivedi, APAC Business Head, Cyberproof Israel.

Some of the must-attend sessions include ones on wind turbine manufacturing, smarter machinery and digital manufacturing. The first, titled ‘Industry 4.0 Initiatives in Wind Turbine Manufacturing’, would see Kemal Dorak, Director – Quality, Vestas, Denmark share the success story of his firm’s initiatives towards Industry 4.0. Next, ‘Smart, Connected and Safer Machines’ will see Steven Lefevers, Vice President and Crissy Gaskins, the Solutions Manager (Emerging Technology) from the Hyster-yale Group, share a case study on smart systems for warehouse operations. Also, do attend ‘Digital Manufacturing -Connecting the Dots between shop floor to top floor’, by Pawan Bhageria, President TATA Motors.

“PM Modi rightly calls productivity the most critical determinant of long-term growth and rising standards of living. Our two-day deliberation will lay the path forward towards increasing productivity from visionaries within the manufacturing sector and the larger industry”, said Rujuta Jagtap, Chairperson, IACC Pune.

IACC Pune has organised this holistic summit in collaboration with Automation Alley, USA. The organisation is Michigan’s Industry 4.0 Knowledge Centre. Thomas Kelly, Executive director & CEO, Automation Alley said, “We are thrilled to be partnering with the IACC to launch Integr8 India 2021. This is the first opportunity of its kind and bridges our global perspectives on the advancement of Industry 4.0. I expect attendees will be floored by the deep insights they gain and the relationships they develop.”

Alongside the virtual conference, IACC Pune has organised a three-day virtual exhibition, lending a stage to more than 500 industrial stalwarts. This exhibition will run concurrently, from April 22 – April 24.
