Wizcraft MIME’s Global Wedding Academy begins its classes

WIZCRAFT Management Institute for Media and Entertainment (MIME) began it’s much awaited Global Wedding Academy Executive Programme classes at the premiere ISDI campus, One India Bulls Centre, Mumbai.

The orientation program was addressed by the founders themselves. Viraf Sarkari shared the 30 year Wizcraft story of creating experiences; Sabbas Joseph shared perspective on what it takes to succeed in the events industry; Siddharth Shahani, Executive Director of Dice Academy welcomed the students to the campus; Sushma Gaikwad and Neha Seth Arora oriented the students into the program sharing the various facets that the students would be enlightened on and how they could get the best benefits out from the program.

Wizcraft MIME is partnering with the best professionals and practitioners from across the industry and allied industries, thereby providing the events, media and entertainment industry a much-needed professional boost. The institute aims to mentor and educate talent in the multiple facets of the experiential industry, to match its fast-paced growth and address the long-felt need for trained, competent professionals.

The first on-campus offering by the Global Wedding Academy Executive Programme saw more than a thousand applicants with only 30 aspiring professionals being chosen. The students are visibly enthusiastic to be groomed into successful wedding managers and planners.

With the global wedding industry contributing over $350 bn, and the Indian industry already sized at $30bn, the need for educated, trained professionals is growing and the Global Wedding Academy would provide trained manpower ready for employment and entrepreneurship.

The Global Wedding Academy faculty includes Wizcraft founders Andre Timmins, Viraf Sarkari & Sabbas Joseph; life trainer and event industry leader Sushma Gaikwad, wedding industry educationist and expert Neha Seth Arora, industry leaders Samit Garg, Thanush Joseph, Bhavnesh Sawhney, Farid Khan, Vandana Mohan, Aditya Motwane, celebrity food stylist Rakhee Jain, Aarti Mattoo, Vijay Arora, Rajeev Jain, Mohammed Morani, among others.
