Valvoline empowers its partners: Launches ‘Bike Xpert’ and ‘Truck Xpert’ programs

Valvoline plans to onboard more than 3,000 two-wheeler and heavy-duty truck workshops in the next 3-5 years across the country.

September, 2021 – Staying true to its nature of originality and innovation, Valvoline Cummins Pvt ltd —announced the launch of its Bike Xpert and Truck Xpert programs. Unlike any other initiative, these programs aim to develop and upskill the network of independent mechanic workshops and service providers, making them adept with knowledge of current and future technologies. Under these programs, Valvoline has already onboarded 30 two-wheeler workshops in association with its channel partners under the brand name of ‘Valvoline Bike Xpert’.

Given the increasing demand for a quality service network, Valvoline has launched the first set of Bike Xpert workshops in Delhi, Gurgaon, Patna, Pune and Coimbatore and plans to open 2000 more in the next 3-5 years across the country.

In addition to the above, the company has also initiated a platform for heavy-duty mechanic workshops under the umbrella of Valvoline Truck Xpert. This program aims to impart training to heavy-duty mechanics on latest engine technologies such as BS4 and BS6. Valvoline as a brand is a pioneer in this space and believes in elevating the ecosystem of mechanics and making them future ready.

Apart from providing preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs, the services also include timely reminders and customized benefits based on past vehicle history. Consumers are also assured of world class Valvoline automotive products being used in their bikes.

For workshops that are a regular stop by for trucks, the Truck Xpert program will help the workshop partners learn about upcoming engine technologies, and detailed training on servicing and maintaining the health of trucks.

As a brand, Valvoline appreciates the transformation that digitization can bring for the workshop ecosystem, especially for discoverability and retention. To enable the same, the company plans to list all the Bike Xpert and Truck Xpert workshops on the online search platform and drive traffic towards them. A CRM application has also been developed for the partners enabling them to maintain a continuous relationship with their customer base.
