New Features Enable Udemy for Business Customers to Easily Achieve Learning Outcomes

Mumbai, November 5, 2019 — Udemy, the global marketplace for learning and teaching online, today announced the launch of Learning Paths, a new feature for Udemy for Business customers to curate customized learning experiences. Learning Paths help employees, teams, and functional leads reach their learning goals more efficiently and effectively by enabling anyone to curate the right combination of Udemy for Business courses, external materials, or proprietary company resources.

“At Udemy for Business, we believe there are many ways to extend the impact of learning at organizations,” said Irwin Anand, Managing Director, Udemy India. “With the launch of Learning Paths, anyone can easily share and socialize learning to unlock knowledge across all levels and all employees. Learning Paths help our customers deliver learning outcomes with powerful course recommendations, reach learning goals faster by selecting relevant portions of a course, and access resources more easily in one central location.”

Learning Paths enable anyone at a company to build a personalized learning experience to achieve specific outcomes, such as onboarding employees, mastering critical competencies, preparing for a major project, or supporting career development plans. Customers can also include content unique to their organization in Learning Paths to address key business objectives and make learning even more impactful.

Learning Paths also leverage Udemy’s proprietary insights engine to deliver powerful course recommendations that help people more easily create custom paths that support specific skills needs. These recommended courses represent the highest quality and most in-demand courses in the Udemy for Business content collection. For increased personalization, Learning Path creators can also choose to include specific course sections or lectures to address their learning needs.

“At RetailMeNot, we’re already taking advantage of Learning Paths and exploring the ways we can strengthen various initiatives, including new team member onboarding,” said Katie Boswell, HR Generalist at RetailMeNot. “We’re thrilled to have the ability to include all of our relevant resources in one place, including Udemy for Business courses, internal company links and external articles, to set our team members up for long-term success. Moving forward, Learning Paths will change how we achieve learning goals while also empowering our employees to drive learning throughout the organization.”

Earlier this year, Udemy for Business launched international collections of courses taught by native-speaking expert instructors in German, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish. Learning Paths can be customized in all supported languages available on Udemy for Business and demonstrate Udemy’s commitment to empowering global learning.

Learning Paths are now available for all Udemy for Business Enterprise Plan customers. To learn more about unlocking the value of learning at your organization, please visithttps://business.udemy.com/.
