Ltd (C fore) conducted its 9th annual EducationWorld India Preschool Rankings 2019-20 survey in 16 cities to rate and rank 662 preschools for youngest children countrywide. The country’s top-ranked proprietary and franchised pre-primaries will be felicitated at the 9th EW Early Childhood Education National Conference scheduled for January 23, 2020 at the Sahara Star, Mumbai.
Bangalore, December 9, 2019– EducationWorld in association with the Delhi-based market research and opinion polls company Centre for Forecasting and Research Pvt. Ltd (C fore) released its 9th annual EducationWorld India Preschool Rankings 2019-20 survey in 16 cities which rates and ranks 662 preschools for youngest children countrywide.
To eliminate apples-with-orange type comparisons, standalone proprietary and franchised preschools (aka pre-primaries) in four metros and 12 cities are ranked separately. Moreover, for the second time, the most well-managed anganwadis in Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore are also ranked with the objective of presenting them as models for other government–run pre-primaries.

The ninth perceptual survey of India’s best preschools was conducted in 16 cities — Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Noida, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Ghaziabad, Bhopal, Jaipur and Kochi. Over 100 C fore field researchers interviewed a total of 8,497 SEC (socio-economic category) ‘A’ parents with at least one child in preschool, teachers and principals in pre-primary education. India’s most admired preschools are as under:

“Every respondent was shown a list of most well-known preschools in their city and was requested to rate preschools they were aware of on a ten-point scale under ten parameters of early childhood excellence. Preschools assessed by less than 30 persons have not been ranked. The rating points awarded by respondents under each of the ten parameters were totalled to rank preschools in the 16 selected cities. All the parameters were given equal weightage except ‘competence of teachers’ which was given double weightage,” says Premchand Palety, founder-CEO of the Delhi-based Centre for Forecasting & Research Pvt.
