hyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions has recently been awarded a contract from Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) for the expansion of their phosphoric acid plant in Paradeep, Odisha (India), based on the Di-hydrate technology from Prayon Technologies of Belgium. PPL is a leading fertilizer company in India and part of the Adventz Group. The project will increase the capacity of the existing plant from 1,000 tons to 1,400 tons of phosphoric acid per day. The phosphoric acid produced will be utilized by Paradeep Phosphates in the manufacturing of phosphate fertilizers such as DAP (diammonium phosphate) and NPK (compound/multi-nutrient fertilizers). The company is in the process of revamping their DAP-NPK facility as well.
thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions will provide engineering and technical procurement services which will cover the plant’s reaction unit, filtration unit, dry rock grinding section and an additional cooling tower cell. The project is planned to be completed within a period of 22 months from the Effective Date of the Contract.
