THIS 75th INDEPENDENCE DAY, APOLLO HOSPITALS OFFERS FREEDOM FROM COVID WITH SPECIAL OFFER ON VACCINATION

National, August 11, 2021: On the occasion of India’s 75th Independence Day, Apollo Hospitals takes a pledge to build a healthier nation and takes the drive for vaccination forward with a special Freedom Offer for the Covaxin vaccine. One and a half year into the pandemic, the country is still battling the novel coronavirus. The vaccination program is one of the key weapons to stop the spread of the virus and its variants, protecting people from contracting and spreading the virus as also preventing serious illness. Under the special Freedom, Apollo Hospitals will offer the Covaxin vaccine at a no-profit cost price of Rs.1,250/- without any additional service charge as against the government capped price of Rs.1,410/- (inclusive of GST and Service Charge) for private hospitals.

Mr. P K Davison, CEO – Karnataka Region, Apollo Hospitals Bangalore said, “Apollo Hospitals has always been at the forefront of building a healthier nation and at a time when we are fighting the COVID pandemic, it is imperative that we do everything we can to ensure the success of the national vaccination drive. Complete vaccination will help in breaking the chain of transmission and in the development of herd immunity. Our primary aim is to encourage more people to come in for vaccination against COVID so that they can build protection against disease and we can progress further in returning back to normalcy. It is to this end that we are not taking any Service Charge. We hope that this will encourage more people to take the vaccine.”

The Freedom Offer for Covaxin will run from 12th August to 21st August, 2021. The offer will be valid on both the first and second dose, and in case of the first dose, the same rate is guaranteed for the subsequent dose. The Apollo Vaccination Centres will be open from 8am. to 8 pm. during the period and will follow the Government guidelines on COVID vaccination. Individuals above the age of 18 can walk-in to their nearest Apollo Vaccination Centre between 8am. to 8pm. from August 12th to 21st, 2021.
