Tata Sky launches Classic TV, brings back the best of 80’s and 90’s shows

Mumbai, 15th December 2021: The classic shows of the 80’s and 90’s have been age agnostic and still holds a strong fan following. To rekindle the same love, Tata Sky today launched Tata Sky Classic TV – service that promises to transport all Tata Sky subscribers to the golden era of Indian Television. The bouquet offers an entertaining mix of shows that have not only been popular but have set a benchmark in the world of television soaps in India.

The evergreen and critically acclaimed Neena Gupta has been roped in as the face of the service. The campaign will feature her rekindling the good old days with her set of friends reminiscing the magic of gems like Hum Paanch, Saans, Fauji, Banegi Apni baat and more.

The service will also have an exclusive chat show hosted by the all-time favorite boy next door Vishal Malhotra. Titled ‘Roobaroo with Star’, the segment will feature Vishal engaging in a friendly banter with stalwarts like Seema Pahwa, Sudha Chandran, Ashok Saraf, Vandana Pathak, Suchitra Pillai and others, reminiscing about their days of yore and share never-heard-before anecdotes with the subscribers. The service has been powered by Shemaroo Entertainment; it is ad free and available for viewing anytime on the Tata Sky mobile app. Tata Sky Classic TV also becomes the first service to curate and offer all classic content together on television.

Tata Sky Classic TV is available to all subscribers on channel number 152 where subscribers can enjoy the service free for the first 10 days followed by a nominal subscription of INR 2/- per day
