“Sweetiee Weds NRI”, a hindi feature film

MUMBAI, 24th April 2017: Asmiy Entertainment and Grand Motion Pictures Production, “Sweetiee Weds NRI”, a hindi feature film, will release on 2nd June 2017.  Shot extensively in the picturesque and colorful state of Gujarat (Vadodara), the film stars Himansh Kohli, Zoya Afroz, Darshan Jariwalla and Kiran Joneja. The shoot had begun last year in a start-to-finish schedule that wrapped up by January end.

 

Produced by Dhaval Patel, Tariq Mohammad, Sada Bhuvad, Cyrus Dastur. Presented by Asmiy Entertainment, Co-Produced by Grand Motion Pictures Production, Associate Producer is Sharad Patel and Executive Producer is Aditya Dhaval Patel.  A fun-filled musical romantic comedy, a Hindi film set in Vaadodara, Gujarat.

Directed by Hasnain Hyderabadawala and Written by Creative Director Tariq Mohammad.

Music is been directed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Palash Muchhal, Shah Jahan Ali, Raaj Aashoo, Jaidev Kumar. While Atif Aslam, Palak Mucchal, Arman Malik, Asis Kaur, Mika have lend their voice to the film songs.  Music Label with Tseries.
The film has a unique premise- think dhoklas, thepla, garba and the stock markets and you think of Gujaratis!  This sweet Indian community has always steered clear of unproductive activities and single-mindedly devoted itself to 3 things – making money, eating good food and get settled in some “phhorenn land” and become an NRI.   It is the craze of “phhorenn land” that forms the basis of our comical story.
