Mumbai,October 2018: Skechers, An American performance and lifestyle footwear brand announces the 200th and the biggest Skechers store in India . The announcement was made in the presence of Bollywood celebrity Jacqueline Fernandez, the Srilankan beauty who has won hearts around the nation by her performances on the silver screen and Consul General of American Consulate General Mumbai, Mr. Edgar Kagan. The store covers about 3,000 square feet carpet space in South Mumbai’s prime location, marking the establishment of the largest Skechers store in the country, at Rustom Buildings in the heritage hub of the city – Fort.
Speaking about the store launch, Mr. Rahul Vira, CEO, Skechers, South Asia Pvt. Ltd. said “We are incredibly happy to launch our 200th store in the country, and it also is a largest store build with a completely new design concept and store interiors . . The brand was looking for a location that could personifies the flavour of the city to its best., to which Fort – the heritage hub of the city fits the requirements perfectly. Through this venture we only hope to grow further”.
Commenting on the store launch, Bollywood star Jacqueline said, “I am extremely delighted to be a part of the biggest Skechers store launch in the country. My interest in the casual, trendy and comfortable style of footwear that they offer makes Skechers my go-to brand. Their products make my workout routines all the more productive and enjoyable, keeping me constantly motivated.”
