Mumbai: SIP Academy India, the provider of the leading educational program – SIP Abacus for children has announced its SIP Abacus and Mental Arithmetic Regional Prodigy 2019 Mumbai, A Battle of Intelligence which was held on 11th August 2019, followed by an Awards Ceremony.

Over 500 children of SIP Abacus aged 6 to 12 years participated in the competition at Ajivasan Hall, Juhu. SIP Abacus students were given 11 minutes to solve a total of 280 arithmetic problems. Children showcased their skills and were faster than a calculator in solving the problems.

Major MD Ali Shah, (retd) who has been invited to various platforms including Tedx as speaker was invited as a guest of honour for the event when asked about his thoughts he said “This is interesting and a right platform to nourish the mathematical geniuses of India, the competition here is aimed at giving a platform and not to judge. The manner in which these students work is actually different from others. The technique is giving them a cutting-edge over others and is developing their mind and making it sharper. I appreciate each and every student who participated for SIP Abacus, the result clearly speaks about the children’s concentration, visual memory, speed accuracy and their self-confidence”

“These competitions develop their competitive spirit among each and every student of SIP Abacus and they improve their essential learning skills which also show up when the children grow older and go to college.” said Mr Dinesh Victor, MD of SIP Abacus Academy“We are gratified of our students’ accomplishments and the way they exemplify the spirit of SIP Abacus and inspiring the generation to excel and to be successful”.

About SIP Abacus; The SIP Abacus programme uses three tools to impact children – Abacus, Brain Gym and Speed Writing. The programme helps children to enjoy numbers, develop their mental skills of concentration, visual memory, listening and builds their self- confidence. The programme incorporates a lot of fun through games & puzzles. With the fear of math out of their way, children surprisingly begin to enjoy numbers. Additionally, Brain Gym Exercises help the children to relax and energize the brain to do new tasks. Children improve their ability to learn, do their school-work faster and hence have more free time to pursue their passion. This explains Lalitha’s testimonial above.+
