Mumbai, 17 December 2021: ShemarooMe the over-the-top (OTT) video streaming app of Shemaroo Entertainment is all set to launch a fresh new web series on 23rd December which will leave the viewers intrigued with every episode. ‘Benaqaab’ – the new murder mystery series comes at the right time to end the year with a spine chilling thrill and entertainment this winters.
The new series is about two news channels trying to unfold a story in their own way, when a young female journalist from one of the channel is found dead mysteriously. What happens next is a series of entertaining thriller episodes that unravel the murder investigation amidst that story going from one clue to another.
Commenting on her lead role, actress Puja Joshi, said, “I am thrilled to be associated again with a brand like ShemarooMe, and to play a lead role in this new crime thriller web series, ‘Benaqaab’. This is my second web series with ShemarooMe after ‘Vaat Vaat Ma’ which was released earlier this year. I am playing a different character in this web series which audiences have never seen before and I am confident that the audiences are going to be left spellbound and hooked by this thrilling murder mystery.”
Sharing her experience while shooting for this thriller web series, actress Tannaz Irani, further added, “This is my debut web series in the OTT space and I am super thrilled about it. I enjoyed shooting for this web series and working with the entire crew. The gripping plot with many twists and turns is surely going to keep the audiences on the edge wanting for more.”
The star cast of Benaqaab includes Nimesh Diliprai, Amee Trivedi, Tannaz Irani, Kuldeep Gor, Puja Joshi and Dilip Darbar.
