Royal Fables Collaborate With Jhelum to host its first ever royal exposition in the emerging metropolis of Pune

Heritage clothing crafted by designers of royal descent come alive at this exquisite the show presented by Jhelum, the Multi designer store based in the city.

Presenting a veritable treasure trove, ‘Jhelum, the multi-designer store’ invites ‘Royal Fables’, the only authentic platform that showcases the mystical world of Princely India for a one day luxury pop up on 6th August 2019 in Hotel Conrad Pune.

‘Royal Fables’, into its 10th season this year is India’s only authentic platform that recreates the mystical world of regal, royal India. In the past nine years, Royal Fables has staged spectacular expositions within India, as well as held heritage, shows in cities like Marrakech, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Dallas, and Miami.

 ‘Jhelum, the multi-designer store’ has outlets in Mumbai at Santacruz West and Peddar Road diagonally opposite Antilia India’s most expensive residence. And in Pune at Baner which boats of having a store in store concept of ASAL the diffusion label of Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. And many other senior couturiers like JJ Valaya, Vikram Phadnis, Rocky S, Anushree Reddy, MXS: Monisha Jaising and Shweta Bachchan’s new label and many more.

This exposition is also presented by Kishandas & CO and they will bring the fabled jewellery house of Hyderabad to Pune. Jewellers to the nawabs and a brand that has dressed iconic brides, Kishandas will also present their festive collection in association with Plumtin, a couture label from Chandigarh that presents bridal collections that befit an heirloom and resplendent with the most exquisite embroideries.

Right from 11 am in the morning to 8 pm in the evening luxury seekers and stylish divas can shop from the royal designers and get fashion ready for the forthcoming festive season. On view will be exquisite block prints, synonymous with Royal Rajasthan, elegant chiffons wore by erstwhile Maharanis, weaves from Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Banaras that are truly regal and amazing capes, jackets, Lehengas, Sheraras, and Poshaks. Crafted in soft silks, gossamer chiffons and easy breathe cotton, the collections recreate the era of regal dressing.

At the exposition will be available cotton classics, hand-blocked; Chiffons, ombre dyed embroidered and lined with vintage borders; Heirloom Textiles handcrafted by traditional Gota Patti artisans, spun in gold- borders, and weaves. Also will be showcasing richly embroidered heirloom shawls and Kosa silk dupattas. Phulgars, quilted blankets and Jackets handcrafted from the region of Rajasthan.
