RELISH TRADITIONAL BOHRI CUISINE AT ITC GRAND CENTRAL

Mumbai, August, 2022 – ITC Grand Central Mumbai, the first and finest luxury hotel for the discerning business traveler in Central Mumbai, announced the hosting of `Bohri Food Festival’, a food festival that will bring you culinary delights of the Bohri heritage cuisine. This festival will be held at Hornby’s Pavilion, an all day dining restaurant, from Friday August 26 to Sunday August 28, 2022 during dinner hours (7:30 pm to 11:45 pm), on Friday and Saturday and a heart brunch on Sunday only.

Our chefs at Hornby’s Pavilion take great pleasure in cooking for you these delicious specialties and tempting you with the tantalizing aromas of Bohri cooking. During the food festival, delicious “Bohri cuisine” will be replicated, which is very distinct from other Mughlai foods.

Savor mouth watering `Dal Gosht’-tender lamb pieces cooked with yellow lentils and flavored with mint & coriander, `Dabba Ghost’ – tender lamb morsels simmered in white cashew gravy along with macaroni and gratinated with egg toppings, `Jang Bari Murg’-chicken simmered in date and tomato gravy, `Chana Boti’ – baby lamb morsels cooked in silky nutty brown gravy and flavored with cinnamon & cardamom, the traditional `Zum Zum Pulao’-a pulao garnished and flavored with lamb liver, kidney and koftas.

For those with a sweet tooth there is `Ananus Ka halwa’-a traditional pudding made with fresh pineapple & khoya and `Badaam ka Halwa’ –a rich almond and khoya pudding and so much more at Hornby’s Pavilion for the festival.
