NSCI Rs 13 lakh prize-money snooker from January 2-14

Mumbai, December 22: The cream of Indian snooker players from across the country will be competing for the top honours in the National Sports Club of India (NSCI) organised Rs 6.4 lakhs prize-money ‘Baulkline’ NSCI All India Snooker Open 2023, which is set to commence at the NSCI billiards hall from January 2 to 14, 2023.

Baulkline is a 15 Red Snooker championship which will be contested by the leading & aspiring cueists of India. The initial rounds will cue-off from January 2 and 32 players from the open draw will qualify for the main draw where they meet 32 direct entries.

The organizers want to test every player from the word go. And hence, this time they have opted to play a simple knockout format from the start.

With 13 lakh as total prize-money, the second edition is set to give away Rs.3 Lakhs to the winner followed by 1.5 Lakhs to the runner-up and ultimately going down the ladder to give Rs.5,000 to the 32 qualifiers to be the highest paying tournament to start 2023.

With assured rewards to all the participants players can register on or before the 25th of December and the draws will be out by the 29th of December. The tournament commences on 2nd of January, the main draw from the 8th of January and we will have our champion on 14th of January.
