Mumbai: Notandas Realty, one of the leading real estate developers in Mumbai, and Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation unveiled an art installation in Bandra West’s Pali Naka on 9th March 2023 as part of its CSR initiative. The unveiling was done by Shri. Vinayak Vispute, Dia Mirza and Harsh Jagwani. Additionally, dignitaries such as Vahbiz Dorabjee and Firoza Dorabjee graced the occasion.
Speaking on the joyous occasion, Harsh Jagwani, Managing Director of Notandas Realty, said, “As we unveil this beautiful art installation, let us not forget that our commitment to our community goes beyond the structures we build. It is about creating spaces that inspire and uplift the human spirit. Our CSR initiative is a testament to our belief that every brick and mortar should be a foundation for positive change and impact. Let this art piece stand as a symbol of our dedication to enhancing the quality of life in the communities we serve.”
The installation has been designed by Sangeeta Babani, a versatile artist known for the amalgamation of Indian and Spanish cultures. Having spent her childhood in the Southeast of Spain, Sangeeta has previously exhibited her paintings twice at the prestigious and iconic Jehangir Gallery in Mumbai along with shows in London, Paris and Dubai. Additionally, she has also worked with industry leaders such as TATA Motors, BMW, Jeep and Mercedes-Benz.
“Quest for Knowledge” is the idealogy on which the art installation revolves. It depicts how knowledge is infinite, it has a beginning but no end and it should not be denied to anyone. An investment in knowledge always gives the best returns. The idea behind the sculpture is to drive the force of knowledge and its power, that every child in the country should have an easy and equal access to it which will only help them grow as individuals and the country as a whole.
Notandas Realty, a renowned real estate developer, entered the industry almost two decades ago when Mr. Mahesh Jagwani of Notandas Fine Jewellery sought to expand into luxury living. The brand is well-known for its innovative design and unwavering commitment to providing customers with a seamless experience. Its exceptional real estate projects are spread throughout Mumbai’s most desirable neighbourhoods and enclaves. During a recent interview, Harsh Jagwani, the Managing Director of Notandas Realty, discusses his entrepreneurial journey, the impact of digitization on the real estate industry, and the brand’s strategies for growth and expansion.
