Navratri special ‘Flix Kick-Ass Women’ kicks off on &flix

Mumbai, 13th October, 2023: As a tribute to all the strong-headed women, daring to take centre stage in this world, &flix presents a special property ‘Flix Kick-Ass Women’. The property will present films that have strong women characters in pivotal roles, inspiring the ladies to take the lead in their daily lives. This property comes during the most auspicious times, Navratri when women are worshipped for their virtues as an incarnation of Goddess Durga. The property will feature multiple titles like the Resident Evil series, Miss Bala, Charlie’s Angels, Ghostbusters and Underworld Awakening. This will run every day at 9:00 PM starting 14th October.

Resident Evil franchise films will run from Saturday to Tuesday. This is a film series including the films- Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse, Resident Evil: Extinction and Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. These are based on the video game franchise by Capcom. It follows Alice, who battles the Umbrella Corporation, a company that created a virus that turns people into zombies. The films are action-packed, horror-themed, and have a complex timeline that reveals the origin and purpose of the virus, as well as Alice’s identity and destiny keeping the audiences hooked throughout. On Wednesday comes Miss Bala, which tells the story of Gloria, a makeup artist who gets involved in a dangerous world of cross-border crime when her friend Suzu is kidnapped by a cartel. Gloria has to use her wit and courage to survive and find her friend, while also becoming a target of the DEA and the cartel leader Lino. The next day, the audience can watch Charlie’s Angels which is an adventure comedy, perfect for a light-hearted watch. This will be followed by Ghostbusters and Underworld Awakening on Friday and Saturday leading the way for the Indian Television Premier of The Woman King on 22nd October.
