Mandira Bedi talks about the importance of mother’s health during a health talk at HCMCT Manipal Hospital, Delhi

Delhi | May 7th, 2022: On the occasion of Mother’s Day, renowned Indian actress and health icon Mandira Bedi, along with the doctors, talked about the importance of mother’s health during a health talk organized by HCMCT Manipal Hospital, Delhi. It is an undeniable fact that motherhood is a great experience for every woman and every mother during her pregnancy and at later stages of her life essentially require a lot of care both physically and mentally. During this health talk doctors from HCMCT Manipal Hospital, Delhi along with Mandira emphasized on the need to educate every mother about regular health check, exercises, proper diet and mental health. They also shared tips for expecting mothers on the journey of motherhood.

Being a mother herself, Mandira Bedi said, “Motherhood is a beautiful moment in any woman’s life and requires a lot of attention. It is also a time after which a woman’s body undergoes several changes, and a lot of women face some or other major health problems. Problems like hypertension, postpartum thyroiditis, depression, and lower back problems are very common after giving birth, and it is very necessary to prioritize the health of the mother and the child. It is extremely essential for women to pay close attention to their health at all stages of their lives. To address the same, HCMCT Manipal Hospital, Delhi has taken an initiative to educate women on the challenges, risks, and its management by introducing a preventive package dedicated to women.”
