MUMBAI, 30 DECEMBER, 2021:Magenta, the fastest growing Indian Charge Point Operator (CPO) company (Magenta EV Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) in collaboration with Central Railways inaugurated Public EV charging station along the Parel Railway Station on 29th December. The charging station was inaugurated by Shri. Subhash Desai, Minister of Industry and Mining GoM. Over the next two weeks, Magenta shall also set up the EV charging stations along the Dadar and Byculla Railway stations.
The public charging station will be functional 24×7 initially with the unique Made in India Street lamp Integrated EV Charging Stations (ChargeGrid FLARE) and subsequently with DC Fast chargers. This combination of AC and DC chargers will support 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers and 4-wheelers. These chargers can be operated through the C’hargeGrid App with motion remote monitoring which includes an automated payment gateway, thereby eliminating the need of having a station marshal to monitor, maintain & operate the chargers at the location.
