Mumbai 15th May 2017: The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival, by Resources Go Beyond today announced that it will be screening Dead Awake, written by Jeffrey Reddick, writer of The Final Destination franchise. The Sixth Horror Short Film Festival is scheduled to be held from 18th to 20th of May 2017 at YB Chavan and Ravindra Natya Mandir in Mumbai where movies from the across the globe will be screened.

Dead Awake, written by Jeffrey Reddick and directed by Phillip Guzman, stars Jocelin Donahue showcases Kate Bowman, an average social worker who is investigating a series of mysterious deaths. Before their deaths, the victims reported that they were suffering from sleep-paralysis, a frightening illness that immobilizes its victims as they dream. When Kate investigates further into the cases, she comes in contact to the creatures wrath. Soon she discovers herself and her family suffering from an ancient evil.

Commenting on this, the content head and the festival director of The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival, Shaunak Sirrole said, its our honour to screen Dead Awakeand to have Jeffrey at The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival. There are many young actors, directors and writers who are participating in our festival and am very happy they will get an opportunity to interact with Jeffery right here in Mumbai.
