MUMBAI, 08 May 2017 – India’s industry stalwarts representing various segments of the broadcast value chain from production to workflow and content delivery will participate at BroadcastAsia2017 taking place from 23 – 25 May 2017 in Singapore. They include veteran exhibitors Canara Lighting Industries, Interra Systems, Planetcast Media Services, Prime Focus Technologies, RGB Broadcasting Equipment, Wasp3d, and first-time exhibitors Corpus Media Labs, YUPPTV.
Bringing together global leaders as well as emergent players from the region, the upcoming BroadcastAsia2017 is the largest industry event for Asia’s broadcast, film and digital media entertainment industry. As OTT becomes mainstream across Asia, broadcasters begin to transition to IP (Internet protocol) based systems and storytelling in virtual reality gains traction, the event will see broadcasters, content providers and technology experts gather to share strategies and exchange views that will further shape the broadcasting industry.
According to a report by KPMG-FICCI the Indian Media and Entertainment industry is projected to grow at a 14 per cent annual growth rate from 2016 to reach US$37.5 billion by 2021, and digital advertising revenue is expected to grow at 31 per cent to reach US$4.5 billion by 2021.

CommunicAsia and BroadcastAsia 2017 will span 65,000 sqm across Marina Bay Sands and Suntec Singapore, and is expected to receive 48,000 attendees.
