Indian composer Jayant Sankla talks about his upcoming projects

Indian composer Jayant Sankla is all set to entertain his audience with a new project Kala Bai starring Family Man-fame Sharib Hashmi and Shruti Bapna. Directed by the versatile Saumitra Singh, the upcoming project is soon to arrive on an OTT in the coming months. In addition to this, Jayant is working with UN Women on a short film focusing on hypermasculinity and producing music for an upcoming project for the UP government.

The singer-songwriter is enjoying the experience of lockdown in creating music and believes it is bringing a great influence on his creativity. He adds that he has worked on a lot of originals during this period which he will release soon. “It is equally important to spread positivity and hope amid the pandemic. I am trying to spend more time creating music and spread happiness through my songs,” Jayant said.

The musician’s recent releases include ‘Mein Tere Ishq Vich’ and the critically acclaimed short film ‘The Wallet’ starring Naseeruddin Shah and Navni Parihar.
