In a rare appearance on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Poonam Dhillon reveals how she gave her jewelry to Padmini Kolhapure who was preparing to run away and get married!

Zee TV recently returned with its most iconic, longest-running singing reality show that has stayed relevant to music lovers across the country – Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2021. The show started off with a bang and the talented contestants of this season have already managed to impress the audience. However, viewers are in for a special treat this Saturday as legendary actress Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure will appear as the special guests on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in the ‘Friendship special’ episode. These Bollywood divas of the 80s are very good friends and they did not just enjoy the performances, they even spilled the beans on each other’s secrets.

While each contestant impressed the veteran actresses during the shoot, it was Sachin and Snigdhajit’s performance to ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ that left Poonam and Padmini completely floored. Poonam felt deeply nostalgic and shared some interesting anecdotes after the performance. The actress revealed an untold story about how Padmini got married against her parent’s will and how she helped her with her jewelry at that time.

Padmini said, “I feel, Poonam has been very giving and put in huge efforts in the course of our friendship, when my mother and father were not supportive of my marriage, Poonam helped me a lot.”

Poonam shared “In simple words, ‘Bhag Kar Shaadi Ki thi Padmini ne’ and whatever jewelry she was wearing, we gave it to her. We were all so young, and we had no clue what she was going to wear for her wedding, so we organized her clothes. We have seen a lot of ups and downs together, happy, and sad. I believe, family is chosen by God but there is this one relationship we have the liberty to choose for ourselves and that is friendship and I can do anything for this friendship. ”

While Poonam’s revelations on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa will make viewers go awwww, the performances by the talented contestants will also blow everyone’s minds during the show.
