ICAI International Conference 2017

The two days International Conference organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was inaugurated on December 8, 2017 at Mumbai. The Conference “Accountancy Profession: Convergence and Sustainability in Digital Era” is a part of ICAI’s effort to ensure continuous professional development of its members. The Conference was attended by Ms. Rachel Grimes, President, IFAC & Guest of Honor at the event. Other dignitaries present at the event included CA. Nilesh S Vikamsey, President, ICAI, CA. Naveen N.D. Gupta, Vice-President, ICAI, Central & Regional Council Members, ICAI.

The Conference is intended as a forum for establishing interface with regions most influential thought leaders in the field of accounting, finance & business. Participants from academics, researchers, practitioners and policy makers will share their insights towards cutting-edge information on global trends, issues and challenges.

There are various sessions during two day Conference which shall be addressed by eminent personalities from Government Sector, Regulators, Global Accountancy Forums, Industry and practitioners etc. The programme structure of the second day of the International Conference is attached for reference.

The Conference is likely to see participation of about 1500 professionals and business leaders.
