Holy Family Hospital Celebrates National Doctors’ Day with Special Program and Felicitation Ceremony

Mumbai, 1st July, 2023: Holy Family Hospital commemorated National Doctors’ Day on July 1st with a grand celebration to honor the remarkable contributions of doctors in providing healthcare and saving lives. The event was organized in the hospital auditorium, featuring various activities and a public felicitation function.

National Doctors’ Day is observed annually on the 1st of July to mark the birth and death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.C. Roy, a distinguished and exceptionally talented doctor. Holy Family Hospital took this opportunity to express gratitude towards the selfless service rendered by doctors and their relentless efforts in relieving the suffering and pain of humanity.

Under the thoughtful initiative of Holy Family Hospital, a public felicitation function was organized to celebrate and recognize the remarkable contributions made by doctors. Several patients were invited to express their gratitude and appreciation for their treating doctors, each conveying their personal stories of healing and gratitude.

Dr. (Sr) Beena, the Executive Director of Holy Family Hospital, extended warm greetings to all the doctors of the institution. She emphasized the crucial role played by physicians and medical professionals in our lives and highlighted the significance of observing National Doctors’ Day. Dr. Beena stated, “Doctors symbolize the epitome of service to mankind and are considered one of the noblest professions. Celebrating National Doctors’ Day is an effort to recognize their immense contributions.”

Dr. Brian Pinto, a renowned Cardiologist, along with Dr. (Sr) Beena who is the Executive Director, Dr. Rajeev Boudhankar  who is  Medical Director, Dr. Jarvis Pereira who is an  ENT specialist, Dr. Vernon Sequeira who is a General Surgery amongst others from Holy Family Hospital, were felicitated at the program. In addition to the felicitation ceremony, Holy Family Hospital organized various activities to enable doctors to relax, spend quality time together, and enjoy themselves. The National Doctors’ Day celebration at Holy Family Hospital was a testament to the immense respect and admiration the medical fraternity receives from their patients and the community. The event provided an opportunity to acknowledge the tireless efforts of doctors and their selfless commitment to improving the lives and well-being of others.
