goEgoNetwork and MIT ADT University sign MoU for a holistic EV Ecosystem development

In a significant move to reinforce a sustainable transportation network in Pune, homegrown EV charging solutions startup, goEgoNetwork has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MIT Art Design and Technology University Pune, to install its first EV charging station at an educational institute in the city. goEgoNetwork will set up six charging points at MIT’s Loni Kalbhor Campus to enable electric-powered transport on campus.

After the charging stations go operational on May 21 at the Loni Kalbhor Campus, similar solutions will be set up at other MIT campuses in the following months.

With this collaboration, MIT ADT University has also taken a step closer to its commitment to building a robust ecosystem for the professional arena to encourage an increase in the use of e-Vehicles along with all possible collaborations from time to time. The MIT School of Engineering has also selected Electrical Mobility as a thrust area, to boost academic excellence and empower innovations ahead.

Prof Dr. Sudarshan Sanap, Head Mechanical Engineering, MITSOE, speaking on the move to make their campus equipped with EV charging stations stated, “Today, more than ever, we need to merge sustainability into our everyday ethos. We are delighted to launch yet another planet-first initiative within our campus, via goEgoNetwork’s EV charging stations. We are sure these will come as a boon for many faculty members and students whose preferred commute option is a personal EV, either a two-wheeler or a four-wheeler. This is a giant step forward for green mobility, green campus, green society, and green nation.”

The University is delighted to invest in developing skilled manpower to excel in technology development and implementation as part of its objective linked with India’s vision towards green transportation and sustainability in the coming years. Collaborations with members of the E-Vehicle ecosystem is a step towards accomplishing this.

Together, in support of a common cause, goEgoNetwork, has commendably expanded its vision through the knowledge of the Indian and European EV ecosystem, with its modern technology of International standards and Indian make, elevating the progress to an advanced infrastructure for a 360-degree arrangement of EV solutions.

goEgoNetwork has also lately partnered with several real estate facilities providers to strategically set up an EV charging ecosystem in remote and metro locations across India to seamlessly cater to the rising EV charging demand. The EV solutions company has also launched a DC Fast Charging Park on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway to disengage EV users from range anxiety by providing a 24/7 operational DC fast charging facility.

These new age collaborations and exciting initiatives surely are challenging the EV ecosystem for the best, bringing in fresher and bigger opportunities for businesses and customers alike.
