Shri Murjibhai Patel, a BJP leader and presenter of ‘Chogada Re Navaratri Utsav,’ is bringing the renowned folk singer Geeta Rabari to captivate Dandiya-raas enthusiasts throughout the Navaratri festival.
This remarkable event marks Geeta Rabari’s debut live performance in Andheri, Mumbai, and is a unique gift for the people of Mumbai.
The ‘Chogada Re Navaratri Utsav,’ conceptualized by BJP leader Shri Murjibhai Patel, is a lively celebration of Garbas during Shree Ambamata’s Navaratri festival. Mumbai residents will have the chance to enjoy the enchanting folk music of Geeta Rabari.
Shri Murjibhai Patel expressed, “There are numerous Navaratri events in Mumbai, but we wanted to introduce the flavors of Gujarati music to Andheri and make this festival unique. We are grateful for the support of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Devendrabhai Fadnavis, who has been our inspiration.”
He also extended his gratitude to Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Shri Ashish Shelar, the President of BJP’s Mumbai unit, and Shri Manoj Kishorbhai Kotak, the Member of Parliament from Mumbai North East.
This grand-scale Navaratri festival in Andheri will see thousands of attendees, with arrangements made for celebrities, spacious play areas, ample parking, and advanced security systems.
Geeta Rabari expressed her excitement, saying, “I have performed at many festivals in India and abroad, but this is the first time I’ll be performing in my hometown, Mumbai. I hope fans will enjoy this Navaratri, and I credit this to BJP’s Murjibhai Patel.”
Geeta Rabari is renowned for her song ‘Rona Sher Re’ and her distinctive Kachchi Bhatigal attire. Her fashion sense is trending on Instagram.
This year, Andheri residents are in for a treat as they dance to the enchanting tunes of Geeta Rabari.
