Advanced Eye Camp with enhanced Glaucoma, Diabetes, Retina and Blood Pressure evaluation was held under aegis of Rotary Club of Mumbai South, Dist 3141 by Padmashree, Prof. Dr.; Keiki R Mehta, RC of Mumbai South on Occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Mehta International Eye Institute, Colaba where a huge number of people from surrounding slums of colaba, which included Geeta Nagar, Ambedkar Nagar, Ganesh Murti Nagar, Machimar Nagar and Colaba Transit camp were examined at this camp.
There was a bus load of people who had also come from Dharavi area to avail the benefits of this Advanced Eye Camp.
Various dignitaries graced the occasion and were handed over Appreciation Trophies, included Speaker of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Shri Rahul Narwekar, Adv. Makrand Narwekar, Corporator,227 and Mrs.Harshita Narwekar, Corporator 226.The Chief Guest for the event was DG Sandip Agarwalla Rotary District Governor – District 3141.
The camp was a very successful event where a total of 494 patients were evaluated and and a treatment plan for all those who needed.
