Salzburg is number one in Lonely Planet’s “Best in Travel 2020”.
Based on the recommendations of an expert jury consisting of more than 200 authors, bloggers and publishing partners, renowned international travel guide Lonely Planet selected Salzburg as its number one travel destination for 2020.
Salzburg receives silver medal in the Readers’ Choice Awards 2019.
600,000 ratings as well as comments from readers and travelers which had been contributed to US travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler were evaluated in order to determine the world’s most popular travel destinations. Salzburg was selected second only to Dresden as the top European city.
