2nd November 2023, Mumbai: To bring alive the emotions and breathtaking experience of a theatre for the audience, &PrivéHD is back with yet another season of Prive Theatre. This week, on the same much-loved property, the channel will telecast an intriguing drama Scavenger’s Daughter which is an adaptation of the American play of the same name written by Gary Earl Ross. The play premiers on &PrivéHD on Friday and will run till next Thursday at 7 PM.
This thriller has been directed by Ritesh Menon and stars Seema Adhikari, Parvin Dabas, Yusuf Hussain, Mohan Kapur, Meher Mistry, and Sima Raaj as the main characters. The play tells the story of the NRI Chaudhary family, settled in the US. When their father is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, the conflict between his three children and their unstable stepmother starts to turn ugly and volatile. When the parents are found dead, the detective is convinced that it is a murder, not suicide. Once all gloves are off, it seems anyone would do anything to get their way, making this thrilling family murder mystery a ride full of twists and turns. The plot also delves into the family drama, exploring the impact of the patriarch’s senility and the challenges of ageing.
