Mumbai, 2nd January 2024: Excellent Classes, a pioneer coaching institute in Mumbai organised its 34th Annual Program called HUES – Honouring Unique & Excellent Students, where the institute rewarded the hard work and achievement of its students for the year 2023. Dr. Zaibunnisa Malik, an educationist and social activist working for the upliftment of underprivileged children graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
Briefing about HUES, Dr. Jamil Khan, Director of Excellent Classes informed, “At HUES, we celebrate the performance of our students who performed exceptionally well in their Boards and Entrance exams like – ICSE, SSC, NEET, etc. The students have been working very hard for these exams and this is a way to celebrate and acknowledge their hard work.”
Students who were felicitated at the program are – Mahi Naik secured 95.6% in SSC and stood first in the institute. Asma Sayed secured 89.67% in HSC Science and also secured 99.27 percentile in MHT-CET scoring the highest marks in Maths and Chemistry. Shada Sayed secured 92.27% in Commerce and stood first in the institute and Aaditya Sharma secured 95.33% and stood first rank in Grade 10 -ICSE.
Apart from this, top 5 winners of Talent Search Exam 2023, which is conducted by Excellent Classes for those students who aim to get into NEET and JEE were also felicitated. Talent Search Exam 2023 was held on 26th December. Overall, 665 students from 8th standard to 10th standard participated in the exam. The top five winners are- Priyadarshini Pedini secured 1st position in class with 99.73 percentile; Ghulam Khan secured the second spot with 99.46 percentile; Brajmohan Podili secured third position with 99.20 percentile; Vedant Gala secured 4th Position with 98.93 percentile and Pari Lahoti secured 5th Position with 98.67 percentile.
This exam is to create awareness amongst students regarding the importance of competitive examinations at an early age. This not only helps students to realise their potential but also builds their confidence.
