Ethopia Invites Fresh Investment Opportunities

Ethiopia summit was held on the March,2022 at Hotel Lalit, Mumbai at . The Ambassador of Ethiopia  to india HE Dr Tizita Mulugeta was present along with IETO president Dr Asif iqbal and the Commissioner of Ethiopia Investment Commission along with the commercial head of the embassy and the visiting delegation.

The signing of MOU between IETO Dr Asif Iqbal president with the the Ethiopian Investment Commission has been done for Indian companies to enter the East African markets. Companies from the Pharma, Textiles, Agriculture participated in the meeting which was chaired by the Ambassador of Ethiopia to India from the Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia- New Delhi and the other diplomatic representation from African region.

IETO plan to take a delegation from Maharashtra to Ethiopia in the sectors of Pharmaceuticals, Contractual Agriculture farming, Setting up Skill development centres in various sector skills, IT development and Healthcare. The 20- member multisectoral delegation will be interested in identifying trade opportunities from MAKE IN INDIA with focus on Maharashtra that can enhance the trade relations.

The Indian Economic Trade Organisation (IETO) has been focusing on strengthening economic, commercial and cultural relations between India and the African region. To deepen this economic engagement, we support the Government of India’s institutional mechanisms aimed at providing added impetus to trade and investment flows between the two countries.
