Bengaluru, 28 September 2022: Simplilearnthe world’s #1 online bootcamp for digital economy skills training witnessed a 63% overall growth in the global consumer business, and 103% in the India market in Q1 FY23 (vs. Q1 FY22). The consumer vertical has seen significant growth in the previous quarter as well, aided by the latest university partnerships and the increased demand for the Job Guarantee programs across Data Science, Full-Stack Java Development, and Digital Marketing domains.

The highest growth (YoY) for the period ended Q1 FY22 has been in the Data and AI category (88%), followed by Technology (71%), Digital Business(65%) and Digital Operations(34%). Of which, the most trending programs were Software Development with 260% growth, followed by Business and Leadership (130%), Data Science & Business Analytics (108%), Project Management (74%), DevOps (69%), AI & Machine Learning (61%) and Cyber Security (58%).

Sharing his views Mr. Kashyap Dalal, Co-founder and Chief Business Officer, of Simplilearn stated, “Businesses continue to focus on digital transformation, fuelling the accelerating need for relevant, skilled talent. Students and working professionals recognize that being skilled in highly sought after digital domains result in building a high growth career and getting much higher salaries. This trend, coupled with Simplilearn’s strong focus on career outcome oriented programs has enabled the exponential growth of our B2C business of over 100% in India and 63% globally, this year. This sets us up well to hit the 1000cr revenue goal in FY23.”

Simplilearn’s Job Guarantee program which was launched in November last year, witnessed a steep growth of over 850% till date. The program which offers learners guaranteed* job placements within 180 days of getting certified, if not a complete fee refund, has also recorded a growth of 73% Q-o-Q. Further, Simplilearn’s bootcamp program offerings, designed exclusively for the US market, recorded a 116% growth Q-o-Q.

“With the spike in demand for our offerings, we also see learners being very focused on intense, hands-on and career outcome oriented programs. Learners are willing to pay a higher price for offerings that deliver results, rather than just go for lower cost programs which may not deliver the career impact or premium credentials that they seek. This shows in our Job Guaruntee programs and University bootcamps being some of the fastest growing segments.” Added Mr. Dalal.

Simplilearn conducts more than 3,000 live classes, with an average of 70,000 learners who together spend more than 500,000 hours each month on the platform. Programs offered by Simplilearn gives learners the opportunity to upskill and get certified in popular domains.
