CREDAI- MCHI Launches Weprocure.in Procurement Portal

At the CREDAI- MCHI 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM), the apex developer body launched WeProcure.in to bring together the users and suppliers of construction material Industry to encourage business between them

Mumbai: CREDAI- MCHI held its 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on September 19, Thursday in Mumbai where it announced the launch of a one of its kind web platform portal ‘WeProcure.in’ with an aim to facilitate proper communication and encourage business between real estate developers, allied Industry and their procurement teams to benefit from aggregated price discount.

The main objective of ‘WeProcure.in’ is to enable developers to directly interact with industry partners who supply raw material and services and get the best deal for the finest brands all under one platform. This portal is going expected to be beneficial to everyone in the industry as all the participants will have a variety of products and category to look into and compare prices. This portal will help the ancillary industry too as instead of approaching different developers, now they have a platform to showcase their products to the entire real estate fraternity. This portal can be completely trusted by all the associates as it is launched by the association and not by any private or business venture.

The portal was launched in the presence of Mr. Nayan Shah, President, CREDAI-MCHI, CREDAI-MCHI, Mr. Bandish Ajmera, Secretary, CREDAI-MCHI, Mr. Harish Patel, Mr. Deepak Goradia, Mr. Domnic Romell, Mayur Shah, Mr. Nainesh Shah, Vice Presidents, CREDAI-MCHI, Mr.Sukhraj Nahar, Adl Vice President, from Procurement Wing Mr. Nimish Ajmera, Convener, Mr. Akshay Agarwal, Mr. Nilesh Puranik, Co-Conveners, Mr. Prashant Mewada, Mr. Mukesh Jaitley,  Ms. Punam Ingle, Mr. Dhimant Choksi, Advisory Members along with  Mr. TD Joseph, Business Head, CREDAI-MCHI and other members and dignitaries of CREDAI-MCHI at the 37th AGM.   

This B2B portal will help developers in economizing the expenses and improving the quality of construction as they will have a wide variety of options to choose at competitive prices. As the procurement costs goes down, the construction costs too reduces, and home buyers and investors too will get the benefit of competitive pricing. All in all, this portal initiated for the industry, of the industry and by the industry will connect the entire fraternity and take it to the next level. ‘WeProcure.in’ is the next big portal coming your way.

All the members of CREDAI- MCHI at the 37th AGM took a pledge to work for and support the procurement portal initiated for the industry, of the industry and by the industry. Nayan Shah, President, CREDAI- MCHI administered a pledge to the members at the AGM. The members pledged to keep up with the transparency and parity of the people using the portal for economizing the expenses and improving the quality of construction. The members pledged to optimize the buying cycle and making suppliers the partners. They also welcomed ancillary brands to their large fraternity that shared their interests, passion and concerns. 

Mr Nayan Shah, President, CREDAI- MCHI stated that it is very important that efforts are taken at this stage to provide value added services to the end users. “The developer community due to such initiatives would be able to get the best products and services at a much discounted rate from their industry partners. The reduction in the cost will be passed on to the final consumers,” he added.

Mr Nimish Ajmera, Convener, Procurement Wing, CREDAI-MCHI explained that Developers and allied industry players would be coming under one roof to discuss a wide range of products and services exclusive only for this forum. “This platform would be win-win situation for both the buyers and sellers,” He pointed out.

He explained that in this era of evaluation the immense knowledge & skill of procurement teams, helps in implementing innovation and technology in their respective projects. “It has taken us a great deal of efforts to make the portal look simple and effective. You can get access to around 14000 products in 25 broad categories on WeProcure.in,” he added.

Akshay Agarwal, Co-Convener, Procurement wing, CREDAI-MCHI explains that the idea was initiated to create a mutually beneficially platform to share knowledge, get best prices, highest quality and latest technology. “We also aim to organise training programs, conduct study tours and workshops to create awareness of this platform at various forums,” he informed.

TD Joseph, Business Head, CREDAI-MCHI said, “We as an Apex Real – Estate Industry Association believe in taking initiatives which strengthen our Real-Estate fraternity, Construction industry players in cohesion with allied industry players, who play a very dominant role in providing value to the buyers. The Association aims to get all the masterminds under one roof with this Procurement Forum to help, enhance & share their industry knowledge with one another.
