Canara Bank, Head Office in association with Christ Deemed University, Bengaluru organised “Inter College Hindi Seminar and Translation Competition”

Dr. Sebastian K A, HOD, Hindi Dept., Christ University welcomed the dignitaries. First Session on “Employment Opportunities through Hindi in Various Government Offices/Banks/Undertakings” was taken by Shri E. Ramesh, AGM, Canara Bank. Second session on “Extensive employment opportunities in Hindi Journalism and Mass Communication” was taken by Shri Mayank Pathak, SM, Canara Bank and Third session was taken by Dr. Bhanwar Singh Shaktawat, Asst. Professor, Jain University, Bengaluru on “Prospects of Higher Education and Employment in Hindi”. In his address at the inaugural ceremony, Dr. John Joseph Kennedy P, Dean, Arts and Humanities, Christ Deemed University said that I am pretty confident that today’s seminar will enhance the knowledge of our students and the guidance given by various speakers will pave new paths for the future endeavours and career of all the students. Dr. Ram Prakash, HOD, SV University, Tirupati addressed and encouraged the participants by highlighting the importance of the role of Indian languages in the development of the country. Shri T. K. Venugopal, GM in his keynote address said that Canara Bank is actively contributing to the national priorities by providing education loans to the students for their education in India and abroad at the lowest interest rates.
