Auburn University continues to be a preferred University amongst Indian students wanting to study overseas

November, Mumbai: Auburn University is located in Auburn, Alabama, a small, friendly university town in the southeastern US. Established in 1856, the university has a long history of academic excellence. Coming in among U.S. News & World Report’s top 50 public schools for the past 25 consecutive years and offering more than 140 undergraduate majors in an environment that students say feels `just like family’ are merely a few of the attributes that have made choosing Auburn University easy for more than 233,000 alumni, including the CEO of Apple, NASA astronauts and many business and thought leaders.

Auburn University has a wide range of academic courses. Besides, there are hundreds of student clubs, as well as the career services available for its students.

Dr Winn is a professor of communication in the School of Communication and Journalism and has been serving as Auburn University’s Associate Provost since 2009. An Auburn alumnus himself, Winn earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication from Auburn University and his doctorate in communication from the University of South Florida. Following his doctoral studies, he began teaching at Auburn University, where he has educated students in courses such as introduction to film studies, history of international cinema and history of the American film industry, as well as several graduate courses, including qualitative methods.
