Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road celebrates 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava Day

Bengaluru, 10th November 2022: Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road celebrated the 67th Karnataka Rajyotsava day at its premises last evening. The event was graced by the presence of Jnanpith Award, Padma Bhushan awardee, Shri Chandrashekhara Kambara who attended as the chief guest for the occasion. The event was held to commemorate the contributions of several people towards the foundation of the independent state of Karnataka.

The event kicked off with a welcome speech by the leaders at Apollo Hospital, Bengaluru. This was followed by lighting of the lamp and the rendering of the State Anthem. The celebrations were marked by cultural programmes which included dancing and singing performances, a fashion show and a mimicry act by hospital staff and other artistes.

Speaking at the event, Jnanpith Award, Padma Bhushan awardee, Shri Chandrashekhara Kambara said, “I am honoured to be part of the 67th Rajyostava day celebrations at Apollo Hospitals, Bengaluru.  We as a State have progressed in all dimensions, and I am proud to be part of this glorious heritage and culture. ”

An additional highlight was the inauguration of the Kannada book exhibition which showcased books in Kannada literature, with the aim to promote the rich history of the Kannada language.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manish, Mattoo, CEO, Apollo Hospitals, Karnataka region said, “We at Apollo Hospitals, take immense pride in our state culture and heritage. The Rajyotsava celebration, is a heartfelt gratitude towards Karnataka and the force behind its foundation.
