Mumbai: Inspired by the spirit of nation service, a member of Kalabharati Association formally joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. With the same resolve, a special program dedicated to women empowerment, self-reliance and holistic development was successfully organized in Mumbai.
The main objective of the program was to serve the nation by joining hands with BJP and to empower women in economic, social and health sectors. Women received detailed guidance on financial literacy, GEM Portal, Mudra Scheme, self-employment opportunities, entrepreneurship development, as well as health and nutrition. Kalabharati and Bharatiya Janata Party reiterated their commitment to work together with full strength.

Key Dignitaries Present: Maharashtra’s Minister for Cultural Affairs Hon. Shri Ashish Shelar, Mumbai BJP President, Mumbai Mayor Smt Ritu Tawde & MLA Shri Amit Satam, Member of Legislative Council Smt. Uma Khapre, Mumbai BJP Mahila Morcha President Smt. Yojana Thokle, MLC Smt. Madhavi Naik, BJP General Secretary and other dignitaries were present. Under the guidance of Kalabharati Association Founder & President Smt. Usha Bajpai, Corporator Smt. Swapna Mhatre played a key role in organizing the event.
Maharashtra Minister of Cultural Affairs, Adv. Ashish Shelar, said:

Mumbai Mayor Smt. Ritu Tawade, said while addressing the media,
“BJP has always believed in growing stronger by bringing young people into our party. We feel immense pleasure when young leaders like Abhishek Koli ji join BJP. As our Chief Minister Devendra ji once promised, 45% of government employees would be youth below 45 years of age, and he has fulfilled that promise. It feels good while seeing all young people working around us in the government.
I bless Abhishek Koli and urge him to connect with people individually, grow with the BJP family, and win by working at the grassroots level.
She concluded by praising other ministers like Shri Ravindra Chavan, Shri Amit Satam, and Smt. Chitra Wagh for playing key roles in strengthening and expanding BJP in Maharashtra.”
Smt. Usha Bajpai said that this program was a positive step towards making women self-reliant and empowered. Women are playing a crucial role in building a developed India. It is our duty to provide every woman with opportunity, guidance and a platform. This program proved to be an important step towards realizing the vision of women power and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Special Attraction:The inspiring performance by “Udaan” Divyang Music Group – Blind Orchestra was the highlight. The group, which inspires society through talent and indomitable willpower, was specially felicitated. Outstanding women/men entrepreneurs, handicraft artists and social workers from across the country were honored. Traditional arts and women entrepreneurship from regions like Gujarat, Maheshwar, Sambhajinagar, Pune etc. were given a platform.
