India Post, Maharashtra Circle, has proudly released a Special Postal Cover and Special Cancellation dedicated to The Film Heritage Foundation today at 05:00 pm. The ceremony took place at the Philately Bureau, Mumbai GPO, marking a significant tribute to the Foundation’s 10th anniversary.
Highlighting the event with their esteemed presence were lyricist and poet “Gulzar” and legendary filmmaker Shri Shyam Benegal, adding a touch of cinematic grandeur to the proceedings.
The initiative, spearheaded by The Film Heritage Foundation, was brought to fruition by the esteemed presence of The Chief Postmaster General, Maharashtra Postal Circle, Shri K.K. Sharma, along with Postmaster General, Mail & BD and Mumbai Region, Shri Amitabh Singh, and Director of Postal Services (Headquarter), Shri Abhijeet Bansode. Also gracing the occasion was Shri Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, Director of The Film Heritage Foundation.
