PNB inaugurates Air Force Station Palam Branch

Mumbai, August 2023: Punjab National Bank (PNB), nation’s leading public sector bank, dedicated its Air Force Station Palam Branch in Delhi today as part of the bank’s commitment to the Indian Armed Forces. The branch is dedicated to Wg Cdr Clarence Joseph D’lima, VM, who made the supreme sacrifice while saving the lives of Late Prime Minister Shri Moraji Desai and his entourage during a catastrophic aviation crash in Jorhat on November 4, 1977.

PNB Executive Director Shri Kalyan Kumar and Air Commodore, S K Tripathi, VSM, from HQ Western Air Command inaugurated the branch in the presence of PNB & Air Force Station Palam officials.

The bank will provide specially designed products to the defence personnel under the bank’s flagship scheme of ‘PNB Rakshak Plus’. This scheme includes, inter alia, personal accidental insurance, air accidental insurance to serving, retired and trainees of the defence forces, central armed police forces, state police force, metro police and retired defence pensioners.
